We left Connecticut on June 22 for a farewell tour around the Northeast before heading to Florida to buy a home in The Villages. Although we have not closed on our house in Suffield yet, we expect to soon.

We stayed at Rest-N-Nest in Thetford, Vermont for several days. Dave and Carolyn Florian traveled from Maine to visit with us at Mike and Marty's home in Post Mills, Vermont. We had a terrific visit and mooched more than one meal from them before heading out for Newport.

We arrived at Prouty County Campground in Newport, Vermont on June 25. We were invited to Lorin Warner and Jeff Place's in Lowell, Vermont. They have the most amazing place! Acres of gardens, a pond, and flowers with a garage stuffed full of the most interesting cars! They have several Avantes. Yesterday Lorin and Jeff came to our campground for lunch and we had another great visit. They brought the loveliest flowers for the table!
